Cuisinart grind and brew

Amazon price £149.95

This Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee Maker is a fully automatic bean to cup machine. It grinds fresh coffee beans before brewing up to 12 cups of filter coffee. Grinding immediately before brewing helps to retain the delicate oils and aromas contained inside the beans so having a built in ceramic burr grinder will give your coffee maximum flavour and freshness. The Cuisinart Grind and Brew Plus is fully automatic and programmable so you can wake up to a pot of freshly brewed coffee every morning. You can also choose the strength of your coffee: mild, medium or strong and if you find yourself out of coffee beans or already have a favorite ground coffee the ‘grind off’ button allows you to use pre-ground coffee if required.

Features:

  • Fully automatic for maximum flavour and freshness
  • Grind off feature gives you the option to use pre ground coffee
  • Strength control option choose from strong, medium or mild coffee
  • 12 cup thermal insulated carafe
  • Permanent gold tone filter

The Grind and Brew Plus also benefits from a double-wall insulated carafe that will also keep coffee warm with out the stewed taste you get with a hotplate. We do however recommend heating the carafe with hot water prior to the brewing, this allows the coffee to stay hot for longer. Another handy features are the permanent gold tone filter, which will not distort the taste of your coffee, and two charcoal filters to purify your water and stop the build-up of lime scale.

User reviews from Amazon:

“Just ordered another… first one lasted SIX years…
We drink a LOT of coffee… probably at least two full jugs a day, 365 days a year… the coffee is consistent and after you’ve had bean to cup you won’t want to go back to pre-ground… DO clean the grinder regularly – other than that this machine is light duty on maintenance- one of the few kitchen appliances I’ve ever owned I feel motivated enough to endorse!”

“This is my second Grind and Brew Cuisinart. And this model is better than the first machine that lasted a good 5 years or more.
I think it is excellent value. The coffee made from beans is reliable quality every time. It takes about 6 or 7 minutes and stays hot for quite a while.
Simple to operate. The little water filters are good also but one should remember to replace regularly. Cleaning is not difficult.
I can’t fault this machine.”
