In August 2018 Nestlé and Starbucks joined forces therefore giving Nestlé the rights to market Starbucks consumer packaged products outside of the coffee shops. The 2 companies have been working closely and in February unveiled a new range of Starbucks branded coffee. These new products are part of the already well established Starbucks coffee at home range. The new lines include whole bean and ground coffee, as well as the first-ever Starbucks capsules developed using Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto proprietary technologies.
The first offering and one I’m totally onboard with is the range of Dolce Gusto Starbucks coffee pods. The range released in February includes a number of coffee shop favourites. Like all Gusto pods some packs are 6 servings, some 12, depending on whether the pack includes milk pods. I have not yet tried all of the new range but the ones I have do not disappoint. Currently my personal favorite is Americano Veranda Blend, a light smooth tasting coffee perfect for my tastes.
The coffee’s are:
Americano House Blend Medium Roast, Americano Veranda Blend Blonde Roast, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Caramel Macchiato, Colombia Medium Roast Espresso, Espresso Dark Roast and Blonde Espresso Roast.
We will update this post when the rest of the at home range is released, including the Nespresso capsules.
All Starbucks products are made with Starbucks 100% Arabica coffees which are ethically sourced and roasted.
